Our Story

Peterson Industrial Products has a long-standing history in Portland, Oregon, dating back to 1948. Originally owned and operated by Lyle Peterson, the company built its reputation on quality products, dependable service, and strong relationships throughout the industrial community. In 1971, Robert Bauer purchased Peterson Industrial Products, beginning a new chapter in the company's history. Since then, Peterson has remained in the Bauer family, with three generations contributing to its growth and continued success.

Throughout the decades, Peterson has called two different locations in Portland home, eventually establishing its current home at 2300 NW 29th Avenue, where we continue to serve customers throughout the Pacific Northwest and beyond. Along the way, thousands of companies have relied on Peterson for their industrial hose, fittings, custom assemblies, and fluid-handling needs.

While our products, facilities, and the industries we serve have evolved over the years, the foundation of our business has remained the same: knowledgeable people, quality products, and relationships built on trust. Long-term employees have played an important role in shaping who we are, bringing years of experience, industry knowledge, and dedication to the customers they serve.

Today, Peterson Industrial Products carries forward a legacy that began more than 75 years ago.
